As the heart and soul of the brand, The LAUNDRē for LIFe Foundation is our flagship initiative, setting the stage for impactful change. By addressing immediate needs and fostering long-term growth, the foundation exemplifies our commitment to empowering underserved communities through tailored programs and innovative solutions.

At the foundation of it all, we are dedicated to providing essential support, resources, and opportunities to individuals and families in need. From access to laundry services, clean clothing and professional development programs to literacy and health initiatives, the foundation offers a lifeline for those seeking a fresh start. Each program and initiative are designed to provide meaningful, lasting change, creating a ripple effect of positivity within the communities we serve.

Symbolized by vibrant tree imagery, the foundation’s logo (although a work in progress) reflects resilience, growth, and support. The spiral-like line represents the clothesline that so many of us grew up using and that some still use today. It conveys connection, support, renewal and sustainability. The three red stars and two bold lines is a nod to the DC flag, where the foundation was born. It’s a powerful tribute to our roots and community centric mission.

Our employment readiness programs offer resume writing workshops, mock interviews, and access to professional attire through the New LIFe Closet. We’re here to help you step confidently into new career opportunities and achieve your goals.

Literacy for LIFe

Our literacy programs empower children and adults with reading skills, fostering confidence and brighter futures. Join us for workshops, tutoring, and community reading events to unlock the power of words.

Donation Requirements:

We kindly ask that all donations meet the following guidelines to ensure they are useful and meaningful for our programs:

  1. Clothing:

    • Must be in good or better condition (clean, gently worn, and free from tears, stains, or odors).

    • Professional attire is especially appreciated!

  2. Shoes:

    • Clean and gently worn pairs only.

  3. Accessories:

    • Items like belts, handbags, ties, and scarves should be in good condition.

  4. Undergarments:

    • We only accept new undergarments, including:

      • Underwear

      • Socks

      • T-shirts

      • Tank tops

      • Bras

Thank you for respecting these requirements, which ensure dignity and usefulness for those receiving your donations.
